On December 5, 2015, the body of 25-year-old Jeromy Ingram, a male resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was discovered inside a van in the parking lot of the Courtyard by Marriott hotel located at 3340 S. 79th East Avenue. Initially, there were no obvious signs of what had caused his death, but a closer examination by the medical examiner revealed a fatal wound to his neck, shifting the investigation into a homicide.
