In the winter of 2016, a life was tragically cut short in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Jason Emarthlee Waquie, a 38-year-old male of Jemez Pueblo descent, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016. His death left a void in the lives of his family and friends, who remembered him as a loving father, son, and brother.
