In the winter of 2016, a transaction on the streets of Tulsa, Oklahoma, turned deadly, claiming the life of 35-year-old Joshua Farrar. On December 20th, near the intersection of West Admiral Boulevard and South Rosedale Avenue, Farrar was involved in what authorities would later describe as an illegal exchange. During this encounter, he was shot. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Farrar, a White / Caucasian male, succumbed to his injuries, marking the city's 80th homicide of the year.
