In the summer of 2021, the life of 24-year-old Donavan Wimberly, a Black male, was cut short in an act of violence in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On June 11, Wimberly was shot near the intersection of Apache and Harvard. He succumbed to his injuries while being transported to a local hospital.
