In the spring of 2017, the life of a young woman from Oklahoma City was tragically cut short. Wendy Cortez-Paiz, a 22-year-old female, was fatally wounded in a shooting that occurred on Saturday, April 1, 2017. She succumbed to her injuries two days later, on Monday, April 3, 2017.
