The man responsible for Suzanne's abduction was Christopher Wilder, a serial killer who earned the grim moniker of the
'Beauty Queen Killer.' Wilder was in the midst of a violent, cross-country crime spree, leaving a trail of terror and grief in his wake. He targeted young women, and Suzanne became one of at least twelve who fell victim to his calculated attacks. Of those twelve, he was responsible for the deaths of eight.
