In the late hours of a summer evening in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the life of 26-year-old Denerrious Hopkins was brought to a violent and tragic end. On June 26, 2017, Hopkins was in the parking lot of the Turley Food Express on East 56th Street North when a vehicle pulled in. A man is reported to have exited the car and opened fire, striking Hopkins multiple times.
