In a tragic turn of events on a Saturday evening in July 2017, Gregory S. Thomas, a 48-year-old man, lost his life in a fatal shooting in east Tulsa. The incident, which marked the city's 46th homicide of the year, unfolded at a duplex where Thomas resided with his wife. An argument between the couple escalated, leading to Thomas being shot in the stomach. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
