In May of 2019, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace at a Tulsa, Oklahoma residence, forever altering the lives of two families. Twenty-three-year-old Marco Celestine Jr., a Black male, was one of two men who lost their lives in the violent encounter that unfolded near 1600 South Memorial Drive. The shooting, which also claimed the life of Joshua Smith, left the community reeling and authorities searching for answers.
