In the winter of 2017, the life of 28-year-old Barry Thomas was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in northwest Oklahoma City. A Black male, Mr. Thomas was born on August 11, 1989. His death on December 19, 2017, marked the 87th homicide in the city for that year, leaving a void in the lives of his family and friends.
