Justin Clark, a 23-year-old African-American man from Oklahoma City, was born on March 30, 1993, to Telana Nero and Timothy Lamarr Clark and grew up in the city whose streets he knew since childhood. He attended Telstar Elementary School and later enrolled at Guthrie Job Corps, where he learned plumbing, before deciding to pursue a path focused on healing and care.
