On August 12, 2012, 22-year-old Terrance Jackson was shot and killed in West Oakland, California. Jackson was one of two individuals brought to a hospital in separate vehicles that day. The incident occurred on 18th Street, and despite efforts to save him, Jackson succumbed to his injuries. The second victim involved in the shooting survived.
