In the spring of 2020, the life of Vanita Montelia Gates, a 43-year-old woman, was tragically cut short in Oklahoma City. On April 24th, she was killed by an act of gun violence. Her death left a void in the lives of her family and friends, who remembered her as a vibrant and caring individual.
