In the winter of 2020, the life of 17-year-old Marlon Carter was cut short in a burst of gunfire in Oklahoma City. On the evening of December 16th, the young man was the victim of a fatal drive-by shooting. The incident was suspected by authorities to be possibly gang-related, a detail that cast a grim shadow over the promising life of the teenager.
