On a summer evening in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the life of 18-year-old Kourtland McFrazier was cut tragically short. It was July 14, 2021, and McFrazier was walking with friends at the Savannah Landing apartments located near 61st and Peoria. In an instant, a single gunshot changed everything. McFrazier was struck in the head by a bullet that seemed to come from nowhere, and he succumbed to the devastating injury. The shocking and sudden nature of his death left his friends and the community reeling.
