On September 20, 2015, 29-year-old Damon Dyer was shot multiple times while inside his vehicle near the intersection of Hartford Avenue and Mohawk Boulevard in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Witnesses reported that the shots were fired from a large white car resembling a Crown Victoria. After being shot, Dyer's vehicle crashed into a parked car. He was transported to St. John Hospital in critical condition, where he was declared brain dead on September 23, 2015.
