On June 5, 2003, 27-year-old Antonio Broadnax was fatally shot in Tulsa, Oklahoma, while traveling with friends on East Apache Street. As they drove, their vehicle was fired upon multiple times, striking several occupants, including Broadnax. While others in the car survived their injuries, Broadnax was critically wounded and died as a result of his gunshot wounds.
