On a summer evening in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the life of a young African-American man, Steven Daniels, was tragically cut short. On June 12, 2010, the 19-year-old was at his home, simply watching cartoons in his living room, when the sound of gunfire shattered the peace. An unknown assailant, or assailants, fired multiple shots into the house, striking Steven. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
