In a tragic turn of events on Saturday, December 21, 2024, the life of Kaylyn Onhail Fuentes, a 30-year-old male, was cut short in a fatal shooting in north Tulsa. The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office responded to a distressing 911 call from a woman who reported that her boyfriend had been shot. Deputies were dispatched to a property near Utica and 66th Street North, where they discovered Fuentes' body inside a barn around 4 p.m.
He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
The investigation into the homicide led authorities to 24-year-old Devin L. Grimes. He was apprehended a short time after the discovery of Fuentes' body, found hiding in the brush a couple of hundred yards from the scene of the crime.
