In the summer of 2022, the community of Guthrie, Oklahoma, was struck by a profound loss with the passing of 12-year-old Elijah Eli James Scott. A young White male, Eli's life was tragically cut short on July 11, 2022. Born on January 10, 2010, to Galen and Jennifer Scott, he was known for his kind and sweet nature. His death was the result of an accidental shooting in Guthrie.
