In the early afternoon of May 21, 2014, a single, loud "bang" echoed near the Shalom Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin, marking the final hours of 33-year-old Kavin Stewart's life. A Black male, Stewart was seated in a car when he sustained a fatal gunshot wound. As Stewart bravely sought
medical help, another man was reportedly seen leaping from the truck and fleeing the scene, vanishing from sight. This mysterious figure became a focal point in the initial stages of the police investigation. Stewart arrived at Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center with a life-threatening injury to his leg.
