On the evening of March 19, 2015, Robert Fitzpatrick, a 38-year-old Black male, was sitting in his car outside his apartment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The vehicle was parked in the 8900 block of West Mill Road when the tranquility of the night was shattered by the sound of gunfire. An unknown assailant, or assailants, fired multiple shots into Fitzpatrick's vehicle.
