In the summer of 2015, a violent encounter on a Milwaukee street led to the untimely death of Jonathan Fontaine Dallas, a 27-year-old Black/African American man. The incident that would ultimately claim his life occurred on July 9, 2015, in the 2700 block of North 12th Street.
