On a tragic evening in Madison, Wisconsin, the life of 19-year-old Tuneija Tornai-Jackson was cut short. On May 24, 2016, the young Black woman, a former student at La Follette High School, was killed in a shooting on the city's east side. The incident that claimed her life also resulted in the death of her 39-year-old father, Mike Jackson.
