Michael Reed, a 38-year-old Black male, lost his life in a shooting on July 17, 2016, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The incident that led to his death also claimed the life of another 38-year-old man, Maurice Brown. The violence erupted on Milwaukee's north side, near 26th and Hopkins, following a dispute involving a group of seven or eight men.
