In the early hours of a Friday in Racine, Wisconsin, the life of Anthony Tyrone Jones Jr., a 28-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short. On November 11, 2016, a call brought police to the vicinity of Giese Elementary School where they discovered Jones unresponsive on the ground. Despite the efforts of responding officers and rescue personnel, he was pronounced deceased at the scene, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
