In the summer of 2017, the life of 30-year-old Kub Herr, a Hmong man and father of two, was tragically cut short in Madison, Wisconsin. On the evening of Sunday, July 2nd, what began as a dispute between friends escalated into a fatal act of violence. Herr was shot and killed by a friend, an event that sent shockwaves through the local community. The incident was later determined by authorities to be a murder-suicide.
