On June 3, 2020, a young Caucasian woman named Austin Michael Owsley, 19 years old, tragically lost her life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The incident that led to her death reportedly began with the alleged theft of $3,000 from a vehicle at Yahr Park.
Following the alleged theft, authorities state that Owsley was hunted down. The circumstances surrounding the actual shooting remain varied according to the criminal complaint.
One possibility is that shots were fired, while another account suggests a gun may have fallen out of a vehicle and discharged upon hitting the ground.
In connection with Owsley's death, two men from West Bend were charged. Tanzanna Roberts, 20, and Kasey Reich, 23, faced charges of second-degree reckless homicide as a party to a crime, with the addition of a dangerous weapon enhancer. Milwaukee Police also arrested three other individuals in connection with the incident, with their cases being reviewed by the District Attorney's office. The charges against Roberts and Reich carry a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.
