In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of 19-year-old Dayleon Jerome Sheffield Groves, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On March 6, 2021, Groves was fatally wounded in a triple shooting that unfolded on the 3200 block of North 40th Street, near Sherman Park. Two other individuals were also injured in the incident, but Groves was the sole fatality.
