On October 7, 2021, a senseless act of violence claimed the life of 36-year-old Quinton McGee, a Black / African American male, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The tragic event unfolded near 8th and Cherry streets at the Hillside Terrace Apartments, where a dispute over a parking spot escalated into a fatal triple homicide. McGee, along with 19-year-old Tanija Turner and 30-year-old Terrance Taylor, were fatally shot. A fourth individual, a 19-year-old man, was also critically injured in the gunfire.
