In the late hours of a Friday evening in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the life of Marcus Giddens, a 41-year-old Black / African American man, was tragically cut short. On October 8, 2021, at approximately 11:20 p.m., the sound of gunshots pierced the night in the vicinity of 63rd Street and 24th Avenue. The Kenosha Police Department received calls reporting the gunfire and promptly responded to the scene.
