Her body was discovered at the intersection of 15th and Fiebrantz, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound. The tragedy deepened when, just hours later and a few blocks away, the body of her friend, 37-year-old Warren Wheeler, was also found near 12th and Fiebrantz. He too had been shot to death.
