On a Wednesday afternoon in early November of 2021, the life of Conesha Ward, a 27-year-old Black/African American woman, was tragically cut short. She was found fatally shot in a vehicle in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of North 28th Street and West Atkinson Avenue.
