Tabitha Ann Hill, a 33-year-old mother of five from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, tragically lost her life on October 7, 2019. Hill was found in an alley near 19th and Arthur Streets, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene. After dropping him off, she took his car without his knowledge. The man reported his car stolen, and shortly after, gunshots were heard coming from the alley behind his house. Hill had attempted to sell the stolen car, which led to a confrontation with Xavier Wade, a 27-year-old man who was later found guilty of her murder. Wade shot Hill five times after accusing her of trying to deceive him.
Wade was charged with first-degree intentional homicide and was found guilty at trial in September 2023. He is scheduled to be sentenced on October 19, 2023. The case brought some closure to Hill's grieving family, who had been seeking justice since her untimely death.
