Byron Broomfield Jr., a 17-year-old from Rockford, Illinois, tragically lost his life on December 9, 2021, in a mass shooting incident in the Town of Beloit, Wisconsin. The Rock County Medical Examiner's Office identified Byron as one of six individuals shot during a dispute that erupted at a party in the 1900 block of S. Porter Avenue. The incident, which involved individuals aged 17 to 23 from the greater Beloit area, resulted in Byron's death and left others with varying degrees of injuries. ...
