Skyé Bleu Evans-Cowley, a 5-year-old girl from Green Bay, Wisconsin, tragically lost her life on October 17, 2022. The incident occurred when she was accidentally shot by another child who had been handed a loaded gun by Jordan J. Leavy-Carter, who was dating Skyé's mother at the time. According to the criminal complaint, Leavy-Carter had left the gun on a TV stand, and one of the children in the home picked it up and accidentally fired it, hitting Skyé.
