In the late summer of 2014, the life of Richard C. Amodio, a 32-year-old male, was tragically cut short. On the night of August 10th, in Spokane, Washington, Amodio was fatally shot at the Howard Johnson along North Division. The incident prompted an investigation by Spokane Police Detectives into what was determined to be a homicide.
The investigation into Amodio's death led to the identification of multiple suspects.
Initially, two individuals were arrested in connection with the murder. However, charges against one of these individuals were subsequently dropped. The other individual, Stanley A. Tensley, who was 24 years old at the time, was arrested in August of that year.
As the investigation continued, authorities identified another suspect believed to be involved in the shooting death of Richard Amodio. In October 2014, the Spokane Police Department issued a warrant for the arrest of 23-year-old Enrique Pena, seeking him on a charge of 1st Degree Murder. At the time the warrant was issued, detectives believed that Pena may have fled the Spokane area.
Richard C. Amodio was born on December 18, 1981, in Spokane, Washington. He was a father, son, and brother. His family, including his parents and daughter, survived him. He was preceded in death by his brother.
