In the early morning hours of Thursday, May 23, 2024, Joshua “Josh” Paine, a 42-year-old White Caucasian male, was tragically killed in his hometown of Spokane, Washington. A loving husband and father, he was on his way to his job as a clinical engineer at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, a position he had held since 2015. His journey was violently interrupted in the Garland District in what has been described as a seemingly unprovoked attack.
