In the early morning hours of October 20, 2021, the life of 34-year-old John P. Gullingsrud, a male, came to a violent end in Spokane, Washington. At approximately 2:30 a.m., police responded to reports of gunfire in the West Central neighborhood, near the intersection of Cedar Street and Boone Avenue. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Gullingsrud in the street, close to the Spokane Transit Authority bus barn, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
