On a summer evening in Spokane, Washington, the life of 27-year-old Anthony "Tony" Brown, a White male, was tragically cut short. On June 25, 2024, Brown, a father, went with a group of friends to check on an acquaintance's apartment at the Serrano South apartments on East Wedgewood Avenue in North Spokane, as the tenant was out of town. Upon their arrival, they discovered that the apartment was occupied. Brown knocked on the door and instructed the individuals inside to leave.
