On a summer day in Vancouver, Washington, the life of 66-year-old Hispanic female, Adela Ruiz-Gonzales, was tragically cut short. On July 14, 2015, she became a victim in a violent domestic dispute that unfolded within the walls of a Hazel Dell home. The events of that day left a lasting scar on her family and the community.
