In the late hours of a February night in 2016, a young Black/African American man, Emmanuel J. Gondo, age 21, was found shot to death in his car in South Seattle. The discovery of his body on February 25th, in the driver's seat of a black Jaguar near the intersection of 33rd Avenue South and South Holly Street, marked the tragic end of a life and the beginning of a complex investigation.
