In a tragic turn of events on a late summer morning in Everett, Washington, William Lee "Billy" VanMechelen, a 46-year-old Caucasian male, lost his life. The incident unfolded around 10:15 a.m. on September 2, 2018, at a residence on Madison Avenue. An autopsy later confirmed that VanMechelen died from gunshot wounds, and his death was officially ruled a homicide by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office.
