In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Tacoma, Washington, tragedy struck a 23-year-old Black / African American man named Davontre Denzell Robinson-Harris. On September 1, 2019, at approximately 2:30 a.m., in the 6300 block of East McKinley Avenue, shots rang out, altering the course of several lives forever. Robinson-Harris was caught in the violence, sustaining a fatal gunshot wound to the chest.
