In the late hours of August 29, 2021, a tragedy unfolded in the Bagley Downs neighborhood of Vancouver, Washington, forever altering the lives of a local family. Tyler R. Harris, a 28-year-old man, was at his apartment in the 3500 block of Northeast 50th Court when a knock came at his door shortly before 11:45 p.m. When he answered, he was met by a man and two women, leading to a confrontation in his doorway.
