In the early morning hours of January 3, 2026, a dispute that began over a discussion about football at a Vancouver, Washington bar tragically escalated, ending the life of 43-year-old Cory Jones. Jones, a father of five and a grandfather of two, was shot multiple times in the parking lot of the Offramp Bar and Grill and died at the scene. The Clark County Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed that his death was a homicide caused by multiple gunshot wounds.
