Christopher Thomas, a 26-year-old Black man, was killed on August 6, 2022, in Montgomery, Alabama, after gunfire erupted on a stretch of Zelda Road that runs just west of Interstate 85. Police were called to the 2600 block of Zelda Road near the Ann Street intersection, where Thomas was found with a fatal gunshot wound.
