Therron D. Pittman, a Black/African American man, 45, was found in the early morning quiet of Memorial Day 2021, collapsed outside a house in the 200 block of East 27th Street in Vancouver, Washington. Officers responding to reports of gunfire around 5:25 a.m. discovered him in front of the residence; by week’s end the Clark County Medical Examiner identified him and determined he had been killed by multiple gunshot wounds, ruling the death a homicide.
