In the autumn of 2019, the quiet lobby of the Smith Tower Apartments, a senior living community in Vancouver, Washington, became the scene of a sudden and tragic act of violence. On October 3rd, 75-year-old Dean Leon Tunstall, a White male known for his independent and sometimes teasing nature, was fatally shot.
