Arkan Al-Aboudy, a 43-year-old father of two and a home remodeling business owner, was tragically shot and killed on March 17, 2022, in Seattle, Washington. Al-Aboudy was searching for his missing brother, Mike, in a homeless encampment located near South Dearborn Street and 10th Avenue South when he was fatally shot. His body was discovered on a sidewalk near the encampment, which has since been cleared by authorities.

who was deeply concerned about his brother's well-being. Mike, who suffers from diabetes, high blood pressure, and a recent cancer diagnosis, had been missing since March 1, 2022. Al-Aboudy took it upon himself to search local homeless camps in hopes of finding his brother. Unfortunately, his search led him to a dangerous area known as 'The Jungle,' where he was shot once in the back around 2:20 PM.
The Seattle Police Department launched an investigation into Al-Aboudy's murder, but as of now, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been identified.
